In collaboration with Bar Bario, Motormond has put together a screening program with films that we feel attempt at the magical impossibility of collective healing. 

Fernando Meirelles and Kátia Lund’s 2003 City of God will be the third film we will be showing. 

SYNOPSIS: Two boys are brought up in a sadistic neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro. Later, they adopt diverse professional paths, with one of them becoming a photographer and the other boy becoming a drug dealer.
